The Shape of Things to Come

Every time a year comes to a close we feel inclined to reflect on the year that's passed; evaluate what's changed, make a note of how different things are now. But the truth for me is, I am constantly doing this. I live for reminiscence; the good and the bad, even the embarrassing - I find myself doing this a lot.
After looking back over 2011 I've come to the decision that it was probably the best year of my life. And without going into too many intricate details, it's safe to say that 2011 wasn't just the best year of my life because of all the great stuff that happened; 2011 was the best year of my life because I know that this is the year that will potentially pave the way for future best years. I feel like I know what I want a little better, what I could achieve, what I want to achieve.
This excites me!
